DESCENDANTS OF ELIHUGH BROCK OF PIKEVILLE, BLEDSODE, TN

This book started with satisfying my curiosity on how my family seemed to be divided exactly 50/50 between Caucasian relatives and relatives that were People of Color.  In doing so, not only did I get the answer to that question, I was able to validate several family stories that I had heard all my life.

Going all the way back to Elihugh Brock, who turned out to be my 3rd great grandfather, I went on a journey filled with twists, turns, and puzzles.  So many other family members were interested that the idea of compiling all the info and photos I discovered into one easy reference manual was born.  However, if you know anything about Pikeville, you know how small it is, and therefore, the book spawned interest from distant relatives that recognized some of the names in the book, and well as historians dedicated to preserving all documented info about the quaint little town my ancestors originally called home.
